Andrew Gearhart serves as Senior Communications Strategist and is based out of the Silicon Valley office. Andrew brings a vast background in television news to Lumina Communications. Among other responsibilities, he helps clients craft their messages for a television news audience

Before joining Lumina in April of 2021, Andrew spent 20 years as a television news producer. He produced newscasts for CBS, NBC, and ABC news affiliates in Los Angeles, the San Francisco Bay Area, Las Vegas, and Pittsburgh. He produced live coverage during big international stories such as the Kobe Bryant helicopter crash, OJ Simpson’s arrest in Las Vegas, and Facebook’s IPO just to name a few.

Andrew is a 2000 graduate of Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania. In 2020 the university inducted him into its Communication & Media Hall of Fame. When he’s not working, Andrew is spending time with his wife and their two children.
